You've done the hard yards in learning to drive and todays the day you sit your Practical Driving Test.
There's one thing that, as the title above describes, is really easy to get right and wrong in equal measure but is arguably the most important thing to make every effort to nail during that 33 minutes of driving pressure with an Examiner sitting by your side.
Use if Mirrors is about 20% of the total number of things you will be marked on during the test and that gives you some idea of how important they are to get right.
Think about it... all that Examiner has to do is turn his/her head and watch you from the passenger seat. Your interactions with the mirrors are very obvious to someone who is watching and even more so to someone who is trained to watch you and watch for the errors.
There are so many variations on the theme of mirror checks that it is easy to get miss one or mistime one. Approaching Junctions, during and after. In Traffic, while on the move, slowing down, speeding up and many many more but be persistent and you'll get more right than wrong and that will make all the difference at the end of the day.
Remember your Driving Instructor and his words of advice on the subject and if all else fails just ask for a recap. We are always more than happy to cover the ground to make sure you are totally at ease on test day.
