It will help by de-stressing an already stressful environment and situation where you may already be anxious or unnerved by doing something so alien to you that you fell like a total imposter and shouldn't be doing what you are trying to do in learning how to drive. A really good Driving Instructor knows this and also knows that it's their job to educate you in knowing how to deal with those situations and those stresses.
