I might be wrong but something tells me that Examiners are paying close attention to your Use of Speed on your Driving Test at the minute.
But what does that mean?
Well, Use of Speed doesn't just mean going to fast, it can also mean going to slow. Both are circumstantial to the environment you are in at a particular time. For example, you aren't going to slow on a Dual Carriageway if you are following the traffic ahead and they are controlling your speed when you have no opportunity to overtake. There are obviously considerations to be made with regards to speed limit signage too and obey the laws surrounding them. But what about going to slow?
Yes, you can go too slow. Think of a country side road. In certain circumstances you could see a national speed limit sign identifying that road as 60mph. What's an acceptable speed to drive along said road? Say there is nothing on the road and you have a free run. Your speed is limited to 45mph. You need to to feel safe, confident and comfortable. 20mph will be too slow. 45mph might be too fast as the road twists and turns. Remember, it's not a constant speed an examiner is looking for but your ability to raise and lower you speed when appropriate and 'make good progress' when it is safe to do so.
