Contacting Instructors at the 11th hour.

Every Driving Instructor is very busy at the moment and recently we highlighted the need for advance planning when it comes to wanting to start lessons with at least 3 months needed before your desired start date as a time to start adding your details to any waiting list. Contacting Instructors at the 11th hour is a waste of your time.

This post however is designed to highlight the same only for those looking for lessons in advance of a test date you've already booked.

Again, we Instructors are busy with a full weeks work almost all the time. Calling us, telling us you need just 1 or 2 lessons and you have a test in the next couple of weeks is only going to lead to disappointment for you. Yes, you might just get lucky but it's much more likely you're not and if an Instructor is worth their salt they'll certainly want to appraise your driving and give you the best advice they can to inform you of if a driving test pass is even achievable.
