Have you ever noticed a Learner Driver out and about with a passenger wearing a Yellow high-vis waistcoat?

Ever wondered why that passenger is wearing that Yellow hi-vis?
So...
The person in the hi-vis is actually a Driving Examiner and the person in the Drivers seat is a student actually taking their driving test.
The reason I wanted to mention all this is that the patience all drivers should show each other is one of diminishing returns in the current climate and if it isn't hard enough and nerve tingling enough to do a driving test the level of impatience shown to learner drivers in general is bad enough but venting your frustrations when someone is being tested is pretty undermining for the driver. They're already putting themselves under enough pressure without other drivers adding to the burden.
Can I ask, please, please, please show learner drivers a little care and respect. We were all learners once and we could do well to remember that sensation when an outside driver acted out of frustration towards us and how uncomfortable it made us feel.
Take 2 seconds and think before acting.
Specially if you see that Yellow jacket in the passenger seat.

I really resonate with your point about the immense pressure learner drivers face, especially when dealing with impatient road users. It's a crucial reminder that showing empathy improves everyone's road experience, and this also underscores the importance of clear visibility for both students and examiners. Remembering our own learning days can indeed foster more understanding. For those looking into optimal road safety solutions, particularly for training and testing environments, exploring essential hi-vis safety gear can be incredibly beneficial.
